Without Loom Driver ($297) : This option is provides the full suite of design and visualization tools without paying for the loom driver. WeavePoint for Louet drives the Octado & Megado looms. Though the Compu-Dobby 5 does not require an external driver, WeavePoint for AVL will push the WIF file to the Compu-Dobby and open the browser & AVLDrive for weaving. WeavePoint for AVL drives the AVL Compu-Dobby I, II, III, III+, IV, 4.5 and Little Weaver. With Loom Driver ($376): This software allows you to design weaving patterns and then directly drive your loom. Once purchased, software and license information is emailed within 1-2 business days.
